Aquamarine’s name comes from the Latin for seawater, it was said to calm waves and keep sailors safe at sea. As well as being March’s birthstone it was also thought to enhance the happiness of marriage. The gentle powers of this stone aid in becoming less overreactive to situations and helps to reduce any excessive anger and fear. The Aquamarine also represents the 19th year anniversary and can come in different colours from sea green to vivid blue.
